What The Job Is:

First Choice are continuing to successfully recruit staff for the public sector and our Ballymena branch currently have an opportunity for two temporary Physiotherapists within the Adult Rehabilitation team – one of these roles will be based in Antrim and the other within Coleraine. Although these roles are for Band 6, our client is willing to consider applications from experienced Band 5 candidates. These posts are due to last until March 2021 and will be working Monday to Friday 9am-5pm pay rate will range from £12.74 per hour for a Band 5 to £16.04 per hour for a Band 6.

Who The Job Is For:

The client we are recruiting on behalf of are hospital settings within Antrim and Coleraine areas. This role will involve working as part of a multi-disciplinary team with responsibility for a caseload. It will involve working on a rotational basis between specialist acute and community areas and may also require working through outpatient’s department.

What The Job Entails:

This is a diverse role and will include a number of key areas including:

  • Having responsibility for own caseload, ensuring delivery of efficient, effective service in line with available evidence
  • Formulating individualised management and treatment plans
  • Using a wide range of treatment skills and options to provide a specialised programme of care
  • Formulating accurate prognosis and developing comprehensive discharge plans

What We Need From You:

  • A member of the HCPC and CSP licensed to practice physiotherapy in the UK or Ireland
  • BSc/ MCSP in Physiotherapy
  • Two years post-registration clinical experience to include experience within rehabilitation, stroke, respiratory and outpatients
  • Full clean driving licence and access to a car

  • Hours of work are Monday – Friday 9am-5pm
  • 30 minute Lunch Break
  • 24 Hour on call service that can be accessed for emergencies
  • Closing date of advertisement 30.10.20 @ 5pm
  • Start Date for role immediate once mandatory checks are completed.
