Accountant

With a local company who is continually growing, we have an opportunity for a PERMANENT Accountant in Ballymena. This company is a leading supplier of Medical equipment with 3 companies in the UK, and Ireland with headquarters in Ballymena.

This role will require someone who can take full control of the account management from start to finish, including Profit and Loss Account reconciliations and VAT returns. Right now, you may be studying for CCAB qualification or CIMA– or have achieved this already. We’re looking for good technical knowledge of relevant statutory, regulatory and professional accounting standards, plus an organised approach. You should have an in-depth understanding of construction companies and their finance. The key is to combine all this with good leadership and clear communication. It’s vital that you can influence, negotiate and explain complex concepts in simple terms.

This is a full-time role Monday to Friday with flexibility around start and finish times to suit you best. An attractive annual salary of £30,000-£33,000 (depending on experience). What We Need From You:

• Part qualified Accountant or experience in a similar industry role.
• Proficient in Sage Line 50/Sage 200/Sage MMS and Excel.
• Excellent communicator with strong organisational and multitasking skills.
• Self-motivated and able to work to strict deadlines with limited supervision.
• Detail oriented individual with the ability to work flexibly in a fast-paced environment.
