We have a requirement for a temporary Transport Administrator in the Cushendall area. This role will be based in a family run transportation company, that specialise in the the collection and delivery of materials crop paying £9 – £10 per hour (depending on experience) The working hours will be Monday to Friday 9am – 5pm, but a degree of flexibility will be required from staff to be able to work additional hours when required. This role is due to start on 10th  May and expected to last a period of 8 months with a possibility of extension.

What The Job Entails:

This is a diverse role and will include a number of key areas such as:

  • Answering phone calls and dealing with queries from customers
  • Preparing paperwork for drivers
  • Preparing delivery notes and supplier invoices
  • Bank requisitions
  • Completing customs paperwork from vehicles coming through customs
  • Booking PSVs for vehicles
  • Monitoring and responding to emails
  • VAT returns

What We Need From You:

  • Previous experience working within a transport company
  • Competent with the use of Sage

What We Would Like From You:

  • Customer service experience
  • An ability to meet deadlines
  • An ability to use own initiative

What We Will Offer You:

  • £9 – £10 per hour (this will depend on experience)

The Nitty Gritty:

  • Hours of work are Monday – Friday 9am – 3pm with additional hours possibly required
  • 1/2 hour Lunch Break
  • Closing date of advertisement 30.04.2021 @ 5pm
  • Start Date for role is immediately after all pre-employment checks are complete
