Cook – Ballymena

We are currently seeking an experienced Cook for an immediate start at a Residential Care Home based in Ballymena. This is a permanent position offering a rate of pay of £13.00 per hour, working 4 days per week with alternating weekends, 7.30am to 5.30pm.
The main duties of this role include:
- Preparing and cooking meals in line with residents’ dietary requirements.
- Producing food in large quantities while maintaining quality, taste, and presentation.
- Following tailored recipes for specific needs (e.g. diabetic, low-sodium, pureed diets, allergies, religious preferences).
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and hygienic kitchen environment at all times.
What we need from you
- Hands-on experience in food preparation and cooking.
- Knowledge of COSHH regulations.
- NVQ Level 1 & 2 in Catering, Food Preparation, or a related field.
