Cook

We are currently seeking two Cooks to work with two of our clients in the Larne and Ballymena area for a minimum of 6 months. Both clients are Private Care homes who can offer immediate starts for temporary, ongoing assignments. 

For our client in Ballymena, we can offer full time hours Monday to Friday 8am – 4pm with a pay rate of £12.00 per hour.

For our client in Larne, we can offer full time hours on a rota basis that will include working 5 days out of 7 9am – 6pm with a pay rate of £12.00 per hour Monday to Friday, £13.00 per hour on a Saturday and £14.00 per hour on a Sunday. 

What The Job Entails:

• Preparing and cooking high quality meals
• Assist with the cleaning and organisation of kitchen and equipment.
• Prepare all food items as directed in a sanitary and timely manner.
• Adhere to all food hygiene & safety standards.
• Follow recipes and presentation specifications

What We Need From You:

• A minimum of 6 months paid experience working as a Cook/ chef within the last 2 years 
• Must hold, or be willing to undertake, food hygiene training 
• Experience working as a cook in a care home setting would be advantageous

What We Will Offer You:

• £12.00 per hour Monday to Friday, £13.00 per hour on a Saturday and £14.00 per hour on a Sunday.
• Full time hours available
• A minimum of -28 days paid holiday’s (pro rata)

✔ Must be over 18 years of age 

✔ Temporary On-going Minimum 6 Months 

✔ Willing to be available over seasonal Holidays 

✔ Must be able to complete 1 day training (Training held every Wednesday) 

✔ Willingness to complete enhanced AccessNI check
