Domestic Assistant required for an immediate start within The Northern Ireland Ambulance Service in Kilkeel
The role will be based at Kilkeel Ambulance Station and 16 hours per week with a rate of pay of £12.21 per hour. This position is on a temporary basis lasting 3 months, with the possibility of extension.
The successful candidate must be flexible and willing to work weekends. Enhanced weekend rates will apply, with an hourly rate of £17.22 on Saturdays and £22.34 on Sundays.
The main duties of this position are:
- General domestic cleaning throughout the wards and communal areas.
- Brushing floors to maintain cleanliness.
- Mopping surfaces.
- Wiping down high-touch areas.
- Safely collecting and disposing of clinical and general waste.
- Preparing and sanitising patient rooms
