Electrician – Portadown

Electrician urgently required to work with the Northern Ireland Housing Executive based in Portadown.

The successful candidate will focus on the refurbishment and electrical maintenance of Housing Executive properties.

The working hours are Monday to Thursday 8:30am-4:30pm and Friday 8:30am-4pm with an hourly rate of £16.37. Initially this position is on a temporary basis for 3 months with the possibility of an extension based on performance.

Main responsibilities will include installing and maintaining electrical systems, equipment and fixtures, repairing and replacing electrical wiring, testing electrical systems to identify issues, responding to emergency maintenance calls and adhering to health and safety regulations.

What We Need From You

• Completed an Electrical apprentice and have one to Three years’ experience as an electrician
• Level 3 Certificate in the requirements of Electrical installation to C&G
• Currently Registered on Spark-safe programme
• Full, clean Driving licence
• Willing to undergo an Access NI police check
