Electrician – Whiteabbey

Electrician is required to work with the Northern Trust based in Whiteabbey Hospital, Newtownabbey..

The role offers full-time hours working Monday to Friday from 8am – 4pm. Initially the position is on a temporary basis for 3 months with the opportunity of this being extended. The hourly rate is £15.33.

Key Duties:

Carry out electrical and electronic maintenance, repairs, and installations across Trust buildings

Perform planned preventative maintenance and emergency repairs

Test new and existing electrical installations and portable appliances to ensure safety compliance

Maintain and service emergency standby generators

Requirements:

City & Guilds 236 Part II (or equivalent) electrical qualification

Minimum 1 year’s experience

Full UK driving licence

Recognised CITB or BITB apprenticeship, or an approved company apprenticeship
