Fabricator – Ballymena

We are currently recruiting ONE Fabricator to join an established engineering and manufacturing team based in the Ahoghill / Ballymena area. This is a full-time, permanent position, working 40 hours per week, with a starting pay rate of £14.50 per hour. The working hours are Monday to Thursday, 7am to 4pm, and Friday, 7am to 1pm. Immediate starts are available.
The main duties of this position will be:
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
- Cut, shape, and prepare metal materials using fabrication tools and machinery.
- Carry out MIG / TIG welding and assemble components to required standards.
- Perform finishing tasks such as grinding, drilling, and deburring.
- Inspect parts for quality, accuracy, and compliance with specifications.
- Maintain a safe, clean working environment and follow all H&S procedures.
- Assist with material handling, stock control, and general workshop duties.
