Freight Forwarder – Antrim

Our client, a well-established logistics company based in Antrim, is seeking an experienced Freight Forwarder to join their team on a permanent basis. This is a full-time position working Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm, with a salary of £30,000–£35,000 depending on experience. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong industry knowledge and a proactive approach to coordinating transport operations.
Day-to-Day Duties
- Organising same-day deliveries and planning efficient transport routes
- Managing general haulage operations
- Relaying instructions and delivery details to drivers
- Ensuring all collections and deliveries run smoothly
- Handling daily queries and providing updates to customers
- Maintaining accurate documentation and shipment records
What We Need From You
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in freight forwarding
- Strong understanding of transport planning and general haulage
- Ability to communicate clearly with drivers, customers, and internal teams
- Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills
