HGV Class 2 Driver / Yard Person

HGV Class 2 Driver / Yard Person urgently required to join our well established client in the Coleraine area. This is a temporary role expected to last a minimum of 3 months with a possibility of extension, and an immediate start available. This is a full time role, hours of work are Monday – Thursday 0830-1700 & Friday 0830-1600 and a rate of pay of £14.55 – Negotiable based on experience.
Main Responsibilities:
- Check products and paperwork before deliveries to make sure everything is correct.
- Load delivery vehicles safely and neatly, and unload items at the right places.
- Plan delivery routes using GPS to save time and fuel.
- Deliver items to customers, obtain signatures, and handle any queries or issues that may arise.
- Keep the yard clean and tidy to give a good impression.
- Operate yard machinery and tools safely, such as forklifts and other equipment.
What We Need From You
- Previous experience in similar environments is desirable.
- Forklift Licence.
- Class 2 Licence.
- CPC Certification.
- Tachograph Card.
