Information and Security Manager
First Choice Selection Services are currently recruiting an Information and Security Manager to work for their public sector client based in Lisburn.
The post holder will lead on the development of protecting the information systems and management of information following all processes in line with legislation to ensure the effective delivery of the security function.
Job DutiesWorking practices in line with the organisations responsibilities under the GDPR (General Data Protection Regulations).Assist the Business Service Manager in the development of information management and information security systemsDevelop an information management framework of information management policies and proceduresDevelop effective records management system in line with legislationLiaise with key user groups including Senior ManagersProduce up to date information asset, data flow and record management registersProvide specialist advice on Privacy statements and assessments for consent in the use of personal informationResponsible for investigating and reporting data breachesImplementing fraud policy and a secure whistle blowing policyProvide training and advise to other Managers
Essential CriteriaEducated to Degree level or equivalent3 years middle management experience within a large organisation with experience in the following disciplines;• Records and information management• Implementation of data protection legislation, freedom of information• Understanding and experience of the Public Records legislation• Providing training in respect of information protection and management• Preparing and delivering reports to senior management
Hours of Work – 9am-5pm - Monday – Friday
Rate of Pay - £19.25
Duration of Contract – 2 years with the potential of extension
