Joiner – Northern Ireland Housing Executive Belfast
Joiner urgently required to join the Northern Ireland Housing Executive team, based in Newtownabbey.
This position will be located on Cloughfern Avenue and is initially temporary for three months, with the potential for extension based on performance. Working hours are 8am – 4pm Monday to Friday offering an hourly rate of £13.91.
The successful candidate will be required to travel to various properties to perform essential joinery tasks. Main responsibilities will include operating a range of machinery and tools to address maintenance issues, installing new fixtures and fittings, interpreting drawings, adhering to health and safety regulations, collaborating with other tradespeople, and delivering a professional and responsive service.
What We Need From You
- Successfully completed a Joinery apprenticeship
- Minimum 1 year’s relevant experience in a Joinery environment
- Strong understanding of Health and Safety requirements
- Full, clean, UK driving licence
- Willing to undergo an Access NI police check
