Learning Disability Support Worker – Lisburn

On behalf of our client Praxis Care we are recruiting 2 support workers to work within a learning disability supported living unit in Lisburn. This post is for a minimum duration of 3 months with full time & part time hours available, offering a pay rate of £11.00 – £15.00 per hour.

Main Duties:
● Providing personal care and support
● Promoting & encouraging independence where possible
● Assisting with meal times
● Participating in daily activities both on a one to one basis and in a team

What We Need From You:
● Experience working with learning disabilities.
● A capability to complete paperwork and update care plan notes accordingly
● To be Niscc registered, or willing to apply
● To have, or be willing to attend all mandatory training courses
● Willingness to undergo an enhanced Access Ni check
