Maintenance officer – Antrim
First Choice Recruiting is partnering with the Northern Ireland Housing Executive to recruit a temporary Maintenance Officer on a 3 month, temporary contract. Based in Antrim, you’ll help ensure Housing Executive homes are maintained to high standards of cost, quality, and time. Working Monday to Friday 9am – 5pm with a pay rate of £16.37 per hour
What You’ll Do
- Inspect properties to authorise and check maintenance works.
- Advise tenants on maintenance policies and timelines.
- Highlight contractor performance issues and ensure remedial action.
- Coordinate with staff to maintain and re-let vacated properties efficiently.
What we need from you
- Time served in a construction trade with 4+ years’ experience, OR
- Degree in Building Studies (or equivalent) with 1 year experience, OR
- BTEC Higher Diploma in Building Studies (or equivalent) with 2 years experience.
