Job Title: Pantry Assistant (x3)
Location: Holywell Hospital
Hours: Monday to Friday, 4:00 PM – 7:30 PM
Pay Rate: £12.21 per hour (Weekdays)
Contract Type: Temporary (Minimum 6 months, ongoing)
About the Role:
We are seeking three reliable and detail-oriented Pantry Assistants to join our dedicated food services team at Holywell Hospital. In this vital role, you will play an important part in supporting patient health and wellbeing by helping to prepare and deliver nutritious meals in line with dietary requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Assemble and prepare meal trays with accuracy and attention to detail
Deliver meals to patients in a timely and courteous manner
Maintain pantry and kitchen supplies, ensuring proper stock levels
Ensure cleanliness and hygiene in all food preparation and storage areas
Follow all food safety and hospital protocols
What We’re Looking For:
Previous experience in a food service or healthcare setting is desirable but not essential
Strong attention to detail and hygiene standards
A caring and professional attitude towards patients and colleagues
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Punctuality and reliability
Additional Information:
Uniform and training will be provided
This is a physically active role requiring time on your feet
