Payroll Administrator (Permanent Post)

Payroll Administrator required to join our Belfast Head Office payroll team. First Choice are a leading supplier of Temporary Staff across Northern Ireland and our team are responsible for ensuring the weekly payment of 1000 plus Temporary Employees.

What The Job Entails:

  • Processing agency staff payroll
  • Keying various timesheet hours into payroll systems
  • Calculating overtime, shift payments and pay increases
  • Cross checking input and how many hours employees have worked
  • Performing manual calculations
  • Ensuring all payments are processed correctly
  • Confirming P11 reports
  • Checking and sending invoices to clients
  • Creating records for new employees
  • Escalating issues to supervisor if problems occur

What We Need From You:

  • Educated to GCSE level or equivalent including Maths and English
  • One years office based experience in administration and data input
  • Confidence in dealing with numbers
  • Excellent attention to details as accuracy is vital
  • Working knowledge of all Microsoft packages including excel
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively
  • Good spoken and written communication skills
  • Respect for confidential information

The Nitty Gritty:

  • Hours of work are 8:45am-5pm Monday to Friday
