Job Title: Residential Manager – Magherafelt

What The Job Is:

We are recruiting a Permanent Residential Home Manager on behalf of our client based in Magherafelt. This particular role requires you to be forward thinking, have a passion for caring for people and be capable of providing the highest standard of care possible. They want to deliver and develop best practice standards and implement them across the company, your job, as a successful applicant will be to ensure these standards are met

About the Client:

The client we are recruiting for was established in 1980 and has won an award for Care home of the year. They pride themselves on being unique, innovative lifestyle Care Home.

The mission of this client is to deliver the highest standard of patient care through effective, efficient and safe running of the unit.

What The Job Entails:

This is a diverse role and will include a number of key areas including:

  • Maintaining a high quality service working in partnership with colleagues to manage services
  • Ensure the home meets the requirements for RQIA regulations
  • Have responsibility over budgets
  • Arrange relevant staff cover and ensuring the home is sufficiently covered at all times

What We Need From You:

  • Have experience in leading a team
  • An ability to work set hours and be flexible to meet the needs of the organisation
  • Must possess one of the following qualifications combined with a minimum of four years’ work experience within a health and social care setting working with elderly
    • Professional Social Work Qualification and registered on appropriate part of NISCC register without any conditions
    • RGN/ RMN Qualified
    • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care Services and registered with NISCC

  • To be highly computer literate
  • Be a team player with high levels of flexibility

What We Will Offer You:

  • £30,000 per annum

The Nitty Gritty:

  • Hours of work are Monday to Friday 9am-5pm with a degree of flexibility required

  • Start Date for role is as soon as all necessary checks are in place
