Social Workers – Foyle

First Choice are recruiting Social Workers to work with our client in the Looked after Children’s team in the Foyle area. Hours of work are Monday to Friday 9am-5pm with flexible work available. Rate of pay £13.84 – £17.24 per hour depending on experience. This role will start immediately and is for a minimum of 6 months with a strong possibility of an extension.

Duties:

· To manage caseload and prepare care plans

· Prepare reports for multi-disciplinary team and court services

· Liaise with carers, guardians, family members and the children

· Participate in the development and use of community resources

· Allocate money/aid from the Children Order

· Maintain confidential records

Essential Criteria:

· A recognised Social Work Degree

· To be NISCC registered, or willing to apply.

· Be willing to undergo an Access NI Check

· Full clean driving licence and access to transport

Desired Criteria:

· Experience of working with children and/or families
