Supervisor/General Operative Portadown

First Choice Lurgan has an exciting opportunity for a Supervisor/General Operative with Butchery experience to work for our client based in Portadown. The pay rate is competitive, will vary from £9.00 – £12.00 depending on experience. Working hours are 08.00 – 16.30 Monday-Thursday 08.00-13.00 Friday.

 What the Job Entails:

• Communicate job expectations and coach employees
• Determine staffing levels and assign workload
• Interface with customers to answer questions or solve problems
• Maintain items record, document necessary information and utilize reports to project warehouse status
• Identify areas of improvement and establish innovative or adjust existing work procedures and practices
• Performing animal slaughtering and butchering
• Breaking down carcasses into primary and secondary cuts
• Processing meat using knives, cleavers, saws and other equipment
• Preparing cuts for weighing, packing and sale or further processing
• Preparing meat-based products and meat derivatives

What We Need from You:

• Previous supervising experience
• Must have butchery experience
