Support Technician

Support Technician required to work with our client the NI Fire and Rescue Service, this role is based in Cookstown, however training will take place in the Fire and Rescue Service’s head office on the Boucher Road, Belfast, for the first few weeks. 

This role will start immediately and will be for a minimum of 6 months. The hours of work are 9am-4.30pm, Monday-Friday, offer a pay rate of £ per hour. 

The main duties in this role will include providing support and assisting in the maintenance of  the building and ensuring resources are available to the delegates and trainers using the hub. PAT Testing of equipment, water treatment testing, setting up training rooms and adhering to health and safety policies. 

What We Need from You:

• 2 years experience working as a handyperson or in a maintenance role
• Full clean driving licence with a Category BE and C
• Forklift licences counterbalance and reach 
• Computer literate
• NEBOSH Qualification or proven health and safety knowledge
