What The Job Is:

We have new opportunities for Support Worker to join our team in Lisburn. These particular roles are based in Lisburn to work for our Public Sector Client. Various shifts available to include 8am – 8pm, 8pm – 8am , 2pm – 8pm. Monday to Friday with occasional weekends. Rate of pay range from £10.09 – £17.06. These posts will start immediately once all relevant checks have been completed.

Who The Job Is For:

We are recruiting on behalf of a residential supported living units who deal with adults living with a range of complex physical and mental health needs and challenging behaviour. This is a position that requires the right candidate to have the right skills to work in a busy environment and have the confidence to carry out the work load.


What The Job Entails:

This is a diverse role and will include a number of key areas including:


  • Provide care and support to adults with varying degrees of medical issues, within a residential setting
  • Provide personal care –inclusive of washing, dressing, showering and toileting
  • Where directed assist with meals
  • Assist with the daily activities as directed by the Senior Care Team
  • Develop and maintain personal contact with the service users through talking and listening
  • Be aware of and implement Safeguarding Policies when needed

What We Need From You:

  • 6 months experience in a Healthcare Setting
  • Experience in use of hoists and slide sheets
  • A capability to complete paperwork and update care plan notes accordingly
  • To be Niscc registered, or willing to apply
  • To have, or be willing to attend all mandatory training courses #
  • Willingness to undergo an enhanced Access Ni check

What We Will Offer You:

  • £10.09 per hour with yearly increments
  • £13.63 per hour for working Saturdays

The Nitty Gritty:

  • Hours of work are Monday – Friday 8am – 8pm, 8pm -8am
  • If required to work Saturday it will be from 10am – 2pm, 2pm – 8pm
  • 30 minute Lunch Break
  • 24 Hour on call service that can be accessed for emergencies
  • Closing date of advertisement 30/09/2020 @ 5pm
  • Immediate start after are checks are completed
