Support Worker – Derry / Londonderry
Support Workers urgently required to work on behalf of our private healthcare client,, located in their Derry/Londonderry setting.
As a contracted supplier to Praxis, this role requires a flexible candidate who is able to commit to 39 hours per week on a rolling rotation with variation of hours. Shifts include long days, waken nights, weekends and bank holidays. Candidates will be lone working based on 1:1 support.
Due to the nature of this role, it is essential that candidates must have 3 Months experience in supporting adults with learning disabilities and complex physical and/or behavioural needs in their own home.
This role is full time only, and you must be flexible to work days, nights, weekends as required on a rota basis.
Hourly rate is £13.00 – £17.00 depending on shift worked, with double time available at Bank & Public Holidays.
Face-to-face registration sessions are available in Foyle on 15th, 22nd, and 29th January.
If you are unable to attend on these dates, registration can be completed online via Teams, where required.
What We Need From You
- Experience working in a Healthcare Setting (with Learning Disability experience)
- To be Niscc registered, or willing to apply
- To have, or be willing to attend all mandatory training courses
- Willingness to undergo an enhanced Access Ni check
