Support Workers – Day Centre Bangor

Support Workers wanted to work within a Day Centre based in Bangor.                                                                                                                This role involves working with adults with both learning and physical disabilities. This is a sociable role where you will interact and provide support to the service users, including the planning and implementing of activities. This is a contracted role; the hours of work are between 8.30am-3.30pm Monday to Friday with a rate of pay at £11.11 per hour.

What The Job Entails:

• Interact and develop relationships with service users
• Work with individuals to maintain their levels of mobility and independence
• Provide assistance on day trips
• Assisting with toileting
• Assisting with meals and feeding

What We Need from You:

• 6 months experience in a Healthcare Setting
• To be NISCC registered, or willing to apply
• To attend all mandatory training courses
• To undergo an enhanced Access Ni check
