Switchboard Operators – Dundonald

Switchboard Operators needed for the South Eastern Trust based in the Ulster Hospital, Dundonald. The Department delivers Switchboard Services from two main sites at the Ulster Hospital, and the Downshire Hospital.

This role is on a temporary on going basis for initially 3-4 months with the possibility of an extension. The successful candidate will be expected to work Mainly 8am-4pm & 2pm-10pm 5 days out of 7 (Monday – Sunday). Shift work will include weekends, bank holidays including Christmas holidays. Working 37.5 hours per week. The rate of pay is £12.31 per hour Monday to Friday, £16.62 per hour on a Saturday and £20.80 per hour on a Sunday.

The main duties include Answering and transferring Calls and Interaction with members of the public and healthcare staff. Logging of information on the computerised systems.

What We Need From You

• 4 GCSE’s grade A*-C including Maths and English
• 1 year administrative/switchboard experience or call centre experience
• Efficient in Microsoft Word such as Word, Excel and Outlook
