Tenancy Support Worker – Omagh
We are actively recruiting for a tenancy support worker to work in the Omagh area. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within the public sector with a team of experienced social workers as part of the 16+ team. The Successful candidate will take part in supporting young people leaving care or in aftercare. This role involves liaising with external agencies, implementing support plans for young people and to maintain and manage caseloads. The hours of work are full time Monday to Friday 9am – 5pm with a pay rate of £12.25 per hour. This post will include driving duties that will have a millage allowance of £0.56 per mile. The duration of this post is 6 months with possible extension
What The Job Entails:
- Liaise with other professional staff, voluntary bodies and community groups.
- Working with young people on a 1:1 basis
- Liaising with social workers to implement pathway plans for you people
- Participate in reviews of pathway plans and request revisions where appropriate
- Maintain confidential records as required.
- To provide information and reports when required
- Maintaining and managing a case load
What We Need from You:
- Demonstrates an understanding of challenges young people are facing today
- Ability to develop and maintain positive and creative professional working relationships
- To be NISCC registered, or willing to apply
- To have, or be willing to attend all mandatory training courses
- Willingness to undergo an enhanced Access Ni check
- To hold a full UK valid driving licence and access to a car
