We are recruiting a Zoo keeper to work with our client Belfast City Council. The position is based at Belfast Zoo on the Antrim Road. This is a Temporary position with full time hours of work from 8am to 5pm. The post is for 3 months. The rate of pay is £11.18 per hour and this role is available for an immediate start.
Main Duties
- Prepare food and feeding animals at least twice a day.
- Check enclosures for signs of wear or damage to property.
- Clean out enclosures and change bedding ensuring hygiene standards are met for animals.
- monitor conditions like temperature and humidity for the animals.
- Work alongside vets taking care of sick animals.

What we need from you
- 1 Years previous experience
- Some experience in dealing with animals.
