Clerical Officer – Derry/ Londonderry
First Choice Recruitment is seeking a Clerical Officer to join a busy Social Work department, working Monday to Friday from 9:00am to 4:00pm at a pay rate of £12.75 per hour on an approximately 3-month contract with the possibility of extension.
The role involves providing a professional reception service and full administrative support to the team, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and contributing to the efficient running of the department.
Responsibilities include managing incoming calls and enquiries, liaising with staff, Service Users, external agencies, and other departments, handling routine correspondence, diary management, meeting arrangements, minute taking, database updates, preparing reports and presentations, and managing stationery, petty cash, and general office organisation.
Skills & Experience:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and other computer systems
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Professional, friendly, and approachable
