Finance Analyst – Ballymena
First Choice are recruiting a Temporary Finance Analyst for an immediate start in the Northern Trust finance office in Ballymena.This is a full-time, office-based role working Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm, offering a pay rate of £15.88 per hour. The assignment is expected to last approximately 3 months, with a strong likelihood of extension. This role offers an excellent opportunity for an experienced finance professional to contribute to a busy financial planning team, supporting key analytical work, business cases, and financial decision-making across the organisation.
The role involves supporting the Financial Planning Team and will include:
- Preparing and analysing capital and revenue business cases
- Reviewing proposals and maintaining financial databases
- Assisting with benchmarking, efficiency studies, and value-for-money exercises
- Providing financial analysis for agreements and contracts
What we need from you:
- relevant finance experience, or a Diploma for Accounting Technicians (ATI) / QCF Level 5 with relevant finance experience.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and support business cases.
- Experience maintaining databases, preparing reports, and supporting financial planning activities.
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
