Grounds Person – Ballymoney/Antrim

2 Grounds Persons immediately required for our client the Northern Ireland Housing Executive. These roles are based in Ballymoney and Antrim.
These are temporary roles for 6 months with a possible extension. The hours of work are 8am to 4.30pm Monday to Thursday and 8am to 1pm on Friday with a Rate of pay at £13.05-£13.47 per hour depending on experience.
The Successful candidate will have relevant experience, be able to operate, use and maintain mechanical/electrical equipment and machinery such as chain saws, grass-cutters, hedge trimmers, strimmer’s, push mowers, ride-on mowers, and tractor mounted flail hedge-cutters.
What you will be doing:
- Establishing and maintenance of shrub beds and grassed areas
- Removing dead trees and planting trees
- Sharpen and renew blades for mowers
- To clean grounds and lift litter
- Where necessary display signs in work areas warning of dangers
What We Need From You
- 1 Years previous experience in a similar role
- A full current driving licence which includes B1+E or C1+E
