Support Worker – Adult Centre – Northern Trust
We are currently recruiting dedicated and compassionate Support Workers to join our team across several Northern Trust Adult Centre locations. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in people’s lives while working in a rewarding and supportive environment.
💷 Pay Rate: £12.75 per hour
📅 Pay Frequency: Weekly
📍 Contract: Minimum 3 months with a strong likelihood of extension
Available Locations:
- Antrim Adult Centre
- Magherafelt Adult Centre
- Cookstown Adult Centre
- Ballymena – George Sloan Centre
- Carrickfergus – Hawthornes Adult Centre
- Newtownabbey – Drumross Adult Centre
- Larne Adult Centre
Working Hours:
Monday to Friday, 9:30am – 3:30pm – ideal for maintaining a great work-life balance.
About the Role:
As a Support Worker within the Adult Centre setting, you will play a vital role in supporting adults with learning disabilities to live fulfilling and independent lives. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Encouraging independence and personal development
- Supporting individuals with daily living activities
- Assisting with engaging activities and planned community day trips
- Promoting a positive, safe, and inclusive environment
This role is perfect for individuals who are caring, enthusiastic, and passionate about supporting others to achieve their full potential.
🔐 Please note: An Enhanced Access NI check must be completed prior to your start date. Candidates must also hold 3 months experience in a Healthcare Setting with personal care (preferable with Learning Disabilities) and hold a NISCC Registration (or be willing to apply)
