We are recruiting a Permanent Electrician for our client a long-established manufacturer based in Newtownabbey. The hours of work will be 8am – 5pm Monday to Thursday, and 8am – 2:30pm on Fridays. The starting salary for this post is £34,500 per annum and will start immediately.

Main Duties:

  • Maintain, repair and install electrical equipment
  • Report to Maintenance Manager
  • Ensure all tasks undertaken are completed in accordance with Legislation – IEE, Electricity at Work Regulations, HASAW Regulations and PUWER Regulations
  • Fault finding and route cause analysis of equipment

What we require:

  • Minimum of 12 months experience working in a manufacturing setting
  • 3 years experience out of apprenticeship
  • Previous fault finding experience
  • Experience working with 3 phased motors
  • Experience with hydraulics, temperature controls and PLC’s

This role will involve working on a Quarry site maintaining water treatment by ensuring equipment e.g. Pumps are maintained and functional and ensuring chemicals are stored, handled and used safely. Full training and induction will be provided for this role.

We will offer a pay rate of £11.50. Having a forklift experience is desirable but not essential as training will be provided. The location of the site is very rural so having your own car or access to transport is essential.

This is out-door work throughout the year and requires a good level of English due to safety requirements and nature of the role.

First Choice are urgently recruiting for a Drop-In Service Manager to work with our client who are a leading provider of care and support to the homeless. As a service manager, you will enable people who are homeless and vulnerably housed to make the transition from homelessness to home. This role is a permanent role, contracted to 37.5 hours a week which will normally be worked between 8am-6pm Monday to Friday however there may be the occasional need for weekend and evening work. The pay rate for this role ranges from £31,099-£34,723 per annum.

Essential Criteria:

  • 2 years’ experience of delivering support to people with complex and multiple needs
  • 1 years’ experience of managing teams
  • NVQ Level 4 qualification or equivalent in a relevant area of work
  • A satisfactory Enhanced Access NI

We are actively recruiting for 2 permanent project workers to work within a supported living environment. The successful candidates will be responsible for assisting with therapeutic project work to enable clients to gain increasing independence.
