Pay Rates:
● Monday–Friday: £12.71 per hour
● Saturday: £17.92 per hour
● Sunday: £23.26 per hour

Hours & Contract:
● Temporary contract for a minimum of 3 months, with a strong possibility of extension

Key Duties:

● Maintaining stock levels and assisting with ordering supplies
● Supporting the chef and wider catering team as required
● Ensuring hygiene and food safety standards are maintained at all times

● Willing to be available over seasonal holidays
● Must be willing to complete 1 day training. (Training Held Every Wednesday)

Administrative Support Assistant – Downpatrick

First Choice are currently recruiting a part time Administrative Support Assistant to work within the South Eastern Health and Social Care Trust, at their Downshire Hospital site in Downpatrick.

This is a temporary role, initially required for 3 months, with the possibility of extension.

Hours of work will be Monday – Friday 13:00 – 17:00 and will be paid at a rate of £12.75 per hour.

The successful candidate will work within the Mental Health team, and must display excellent planning, organisational, and communication skills.

The main duties of this role will be:

  • Word processing/producing reports.
  • Act as point of contact between service users, carers, staff and external agencies to ensure a full and efficient service.
  • Make and receive telephone calls and take appropriate action.
  • Maintain records both manual and computerised in an accurate and timely manner and in accordance with local policies and procedures.
  • Extract, collate and summarise data to enable preparation of standard verbal, written or statistical reports or returns.
  • Create and maintain spreadsheets for use within the department.
  • Deal with incoming and outgoing correspondence as required providing information, directing and prioritizing queries as appropriate, to ensure efficiency and effectiveness of service delivery.
  • Filing, archiving and disposal as per Records Management Policy.
  • Prioritise workload in accordance with expected outcomes, and ensure that all work, for which you are responsible, is processed in a timely manner

What We Need From You

  • 4 GCSE’s all grade C or above to include English and Maths.
  • At least 1 years relevant experience in a similar role.
  • Willing to undertake an Access NI check
  • Ability to work unsupervised and under own initiative

Support Worker required to work in a small Supported Living facility located in Ballymena, for our client Praxis Healthcare.

Receptionist – Antrim hospital

First Choice are currently recruiting for a Receptionist based at Antrim Hospital. This is a part-time role working 16–20 hours per week on a 4-week rota basis. Shifts are Monday to Friday either 9:00am–4:00pm or 4:00pm–8:00pm, with weekend shifts of 2:30pm–8:30pm. Candidates will be required to work one weekend per month. The pay rate is £12.71 per hour Monday to Friday, £17.92 for Saturdays, and £23.26 for Sundays.

Duties will include managing the front reception area, directing patients and visitors, dealing with general enquiries and correspondence, answering calls and queries promptly, handling complaints professionally, and assisting with car park and access control queries. Applicants should have excellent communication and customer service skills, good organisational ability, and experience working in a busy reception or administrative environment.

  • Relevant experience working within a Clerical/ Receptionist role
  • GCSE English Language
  • An ability to answer high volume calls
