We are excited to announce that, thanks to additional funding, we are now recruiting Children’s Support Workers on behalf of the South Eastern Trust  in the Bangor, Ards, and Downpatrick areas. These roles are essential in providing much-needed respite to parents and support to children, with positions starting in January 2025 for an initial period of at least 3 months.

Available Positions

Band 3 Children’s Support Worker

  • Location: Children’s Residential Home, Bangor
  • Number of Positions: Up to 6
  • Hours: Flexible shifts available to accommodate full or part-time availability
  • Description: Support workers will engage with children in a residential setting, ensuring their well-being and assisting with daily activities.

Band 4 Children’s Support Worker

  • Location: Bangor, Newtownards
  • Shift Patterns: Various shift patterns available across a 7-day rota
  • Pay Rate: £12.86 – £20.58 per hour
  • Requirements: Applicants must possess a valid driving licence with business insurance to safely transport children to activities.

  • Location: Outreach and Community Support Teams
  • Number of Positions: 2
  • Role: Providing residential short break provisions for children with acute or highly complex needs
  • Pay Rate: £14.53 – £23.24 per hour
