1. Civil Engineering Officer
Location: Linenhall Street, Belfast
Employment Type: Full-Time
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM
Hourly Rate: £19.35

- Supervise the annual small works civil engineering tender process

2. Technical Support Officer
Location: Port Health Unit, Belfast City Council
Employment Type: Full-Time Shift Work
Shifts: Rotating between 8 PM – 8 AM and 8 AM – 8 PM, 5 out of 7 days
Hourly Rates:
- Monday – Friday: £17.59
- Saturday & Night Duty: £26.39
- Sunday: £35.18
Contract Duration: Temporary (3 months) with potential for extension based on performance
Key Responsibilities:
- Adhere to EHOS regulations
- Make decisions regarding container examinations
- Conduct manifest and ID checks on low-risk products
- Perform preliminary ID checks on high-risk products
- Handle telephone enquiries from agents, porters, and shipping lines
- Assist with physical checks and sampling of high-risk food stock
Requirements:
- Education: Third-level qualification in a relevant subject (e.g., Food Science or Technology)
- Experience: Minimum of two years relevant working experience
